After being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2012 and undergoing three years of gruelling treatment, in 2015 Adam was given a terminal diagnosis and was referred to hospice care.

Rather than accepting this terminal diagnosis he researched and found a medical team who would take over his care.

In 2016 he underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant which not only cured his cancer but also eradicated HIV.
